Today's FRY-DAY is all about safety.
As careful as we all are, accidents do happen. Therefore, in the middle of this frying, grilling, and bonfire season, we want everyone to be well prepared to treat unexpected incidents.
How to treat first & second degree burns.
1. RINSE THE BURN
Rinse burn in cool water and pain should be relieved within 15-30 minutes.
*Never use ice cold water!*
2. CLEAN THE BURN
Open blisters can be easily infected; therefore, clean the burn with a clean cloth, soap, and water.
*Do not break blisters*
Once clean put on antibiotic ointment.
3. BANDAGE THE BURN
With clean gauze wrap the burn but not tight, wouldn't want to put pressure on the burn.
If burn is 3rd degree or you are not sure look for immediate medical attention!
